ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Accurately maintain complex records
  • Type general office forms and indexes
  • Enter and scan data into computer
  • Convey information objectively
  • Administer Oaths
  • File, retrieve and track files by name and number accurately
  • Receive and record money transaction
  • Demonstrate initiative in assistance in all areas of the office when needed, after assigned tasks are complete
  • Work with speed and accuracy
  • Understand and follow detailed oral and written instructions
  • Communicate effectively and convey information objectively with the general public, attorneys, court and government officials
  • Know general office procedures and have a working knowledge of computer applications
  • Work without constant supervision
  • Work successfully in an environment with frequent interruptions
  • Willing to work every day, and be ready to open for business by the appropriate time
  • Interacts and communicates in writing, by telephone and in person with auto dealers, financial institutions and the general public regarding Certificate of Title matters and information
  • Must be customer friendly oriented

The Deputy Clerk may need to perform the following physical activities: Climbing,

Stooping, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, and listening.
